Optowire AS-S(FF) Flat FRP is an all-dielectric self-supporting fiber optic cable designed for high mechanical protection and aerial installations. It uses a multi tube structure with jelly-filled tubes to protect fibers from moisture, vibration, and environmental stress. The flat FRP armor layer provides enhanced physical protection and offers shotgun-resistant performance for high-risk deployment areas. Aramid yarn reinforcement and an FRP central strength member allow the cable to withstand short-term tensile loads up to 2700 N. The double PE sheath structure improves durability and resistance to abrasion, UV exposure, and weathering. The cable supports fiber counts from 24 to 144 fibers, with clear color coding for easy identification and splicing. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
