Optowire U-S(DS) Double Sheath cable uses a multi tube design with jelly filling to protect optical fibers from moisture and mechanical stress. The cable is fully dielectric, meaning it contains no metallic parts, making it safe for installation near power lines and resistant to electromagnetic interference. It includes water-blocking tape and yarn binding to prevent water penetration and enhance long-term reliability. The double PE sheath design (inner and outer) ensures improved durability and additional protection in duct environments. Aramid yarn reinforcement provides strong tensile performance, supporting short-term tensile load up to 2700N. The cable supports fiber counts from 24 up to 144 fibers, with consistent fiber identification using standard color coding. It is designed for harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C.
